Namaste. I am Praveen Purusharthi, the Founder Director of Commanders Academy.

I started Commanders Academy with one clear purpose — to ensure that Defence/Military school entrance exam coaching is affordable and accessible to every Indian child, especially those from middle-class families in rural and tier 2 and tier 3 cities of India.

As a Gazetted/Commissioned officer from a defence background, I understand the values Sainik Schools, RIMC, and RMS aim to build — discipline, leadership, and patriotism. However, not every family can send their little child to expensive coaching centres located in far-off cities. That is why we have created a digital platform where your child can learn from qualified senior teachers and retired defence officers right from the safety and comfort of your home. Our online platform and tutorials ensure that your child's education quality is never compromised.

At Commanders Academy, we go a step ahead of simple online sessions. Here, we guide, mentor, and nurture hidden potential. We want your child to not just pass an entrance exam but grow as a responsible future leader. Our focus is not only on academic success but also on the overall development of your child, ensuring they emerge as well-rounded individuals.

We also plan to build offline campuses with hostel facilities in the coming years to offer full-time residential training for NDA, CDS coaching, and SSB guidance in addition to these entrance tests.
